MAT Master Level Specialists

Master Level Specialists have established an exceptional ability to help individuals based upon the techniques that have been set forth by MAT. Each Master level specialist has demonstrated a skill level that makes them the "best of the best" when it comes to the practice of MAT. These specialists come highly recommended, being capable of handling people with the most complicated muscular related physical ailments.

MAT Specialists

An individual who has successfully completed the MAT 10 month internship and has proven through both practical application and written examination that they are thoroughly qualified to identify and treat the biomechanical imbalances that relate to pain or injury.

MAT Specialists Practicing Other Modalities

An individual who has successfully completed the MAT 10 month internship and have proven through both practical application and written examination that they are thoroughly qualified to identify and treat the biomechanical imbalances that relate to pain or injury.   It is important to note that this person may or may not be combing MAT with other modalities during a session, This can include but is not limited to Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, bodytalk, ART,......etc

MAT Trainers

An individual who has completed the MAT internship program but who has not yet tested out as a MAT Specialist. Trainers are still practicing the skills which they have learned up to their present level of training.

MAT Interns

An individual who is currently enrolled in the MAT internship program to learn the skills to become a MAT Specialist.

MAT Graduates

Individuals who have completed the MAT internship program but have chosen either to not test out as a MAT Specialist or they have allowed their certification to lapse.  If a MAT Specialist does not meet the continuing education requirements set forth by MAT, they shall be considered non-compliant.
